How does Upkept decide when something is due?
Each task repeats on an interval you choose (for example, “every 3 months”). The next due date is measured from the last time you marked it done — so an overdue task stays overdue until you actually take care of it.
How do I set up my home quickly?
On first launch, pick from the ready-made checklist (the most common tasks are pre-selected) and tap Add. You can adjust any interval or date afterward, and add custom tasks anytime.
Will I lose my tasks if I update the app?
No. Your data is stored safely on your device and survives app updates. You can also export a JSON copy anytime from Settings → Export data.
How do I get reminders?
Allow notifications when prompted (or turn them on later in Settings → Notifications). Each task can remind you a chosen number of days before it’s due.
What does Upkept Pro include?
The free version tracks several tasks. Upkept Pro is a single one-time purchase (no subscription, no ads) that unlocks unlimited tasks. Already bought it on another device? Use Settings → Restore purchase.
Do I need an account or internet connection?
No. Upkept has no account and works fully offline. The only time it uses the network is to process or restore an in-app purchase through Apple.
